I had purchased an AH X13PHT/PMT AC on 19 April. 2015 from M/S Sargam Electronics, Kohat Enclave, Pitampura, Delhi 34. Surely an expensive product. Observed that cooling was inadequate and had lodged a complaint with call centre on 15 June.
The complaint number was 816459/ 819213/619206. First the Co. tried to fob me off by saying that I should go to the dealer who may not have done the installation properly. Resisted that and made them attend to the issue. They came and were not able to identify the issue.
I asked him what should be the temperature in the room if the AC is set to 16 degrees. He said that it would not be 16 degrees. It may be 20 or 21 degrees. I am not sure whether this statement is correct. In my view if the AC shows a temperature of 16 degrees the ambient temperature could be 17 or 18 degrees. I thereafter asked him if he has a temperature gauge to measure the temperature. He said he did not have it. So we could not objectively measure whether any improvement took place. It is hard to image a service engineer from a reputed company moving around with this inexpensive piece of gadget. Anyhow since there was some improvement in cooling, the engineer recommended to work the AC and see if there was improvement, which I foolishly accepted.
Now I find that the situation has reverted back to the old condition. There is hardly any cooling. We have been treated very shabbily all along and suffered in these hot summers. This was the first time I decided to buy an expensive product and assure that it will be the last time. The quality of technical post sales support is atrocious
Interestingly the CEO, Sunil Kumar Sinha has given his telephone no 011-2643877 in the warranty card to call him''where you feel my intervention is necessary'. The moment you dial the number, it promptly disconnects!I. The customer feedback section on Co. website also does not function
