Do not go by the reviews given by the ones already published. You may have gone through them and these students use nothing much foul language since they are frustrated with their number of KTs and low marks. I have just finished my first year and trust me, the college is good! It is just below the TSEC, Angel Bandra level. Much better option that Somaiya SIon, New Bombay colleges.
The seniors are extremely helpful and nice, they will give their notes, share their experiences and so on. Ask any senior and they will try to help you in any possible way!
College chapters like CSI, ISTE and IEEE hold many seminars and workshops on Saturdays and during the fest time, we have most fun! Publicity and event management is an enriching experience :) We come close to how such huge techinal events are held from scratch!
Some teachers are not so good, but that is found in every college, but since every student nearly goes for tuitions, it hardly matters. The topper in 1st sem had scored 82% which is awesome! The labs are good, canteen has improved with Chinese corner, library is really good with many reference books to read and issue. It is the best place for studying. The college is beautiful during rainy season, you must check it out, since it will be during your admission time only :)
Attendence is quite strict in college, you may feel this as a minus point but trust me, after travelling so far to college you will hardly feel like bunking and there isn't much to hang around here anyway. Remember this, you will make so many friends in your first year that leaving them will be difficult and you will wish you had attended lectures :)
