I had booked my return journey from Goa to Chennai on Dec 14, 2014 via Goibibo. The bus operator was seabird. It was close to 20 hour journey and hence, I choose a multi axle sleeper bus.
And as per the booking system, I choose a couple of seats 14L and 15L and paid Rs. 3200. I booked my tickets on Nov 13, 2014.
I received an SMS from the operator that our seats have been shifted to L21, L22. I realized that sleeper buses do not have 21-22 and inquired further to find out that we have been shifted to a Semi-sleeper.
They had no courtesy to call and inform us of any change, just a simple SMS disguising the change to a lesser category of bus as change in seats.
I lost my faith in the operator and cancelled my tickets in Goibibo but haven't received any refund even though we are supposed to get 90% of the fare according to their cancellation policy.
