Tickets rates are very nominal in chennai and if you go to Satyam Cinemas its just pure indulgence in luxury. The theatre is one of a sort in India. Lets just begin with entry i.e. parking you have so much of space that you could easily park at least 400 cars, if you think that’s less then you have more parking in a place near the theatre which is well connected by a shuttle service.
Then you get to the ticket counter, you have close to 15 counters which could facilitate easy flow. Then you enter into the lobby section where you have 32 inch plasmas displaying the coming movies, there are so many of these TVs that each turn you take you will encounter one. Then the theater hall, when you enter the hall you can easily sense that the man behind the Multiplex is a man who indulges and has a good taste for creativity and passion for his work.
The lights inside the hall are camouflaged by Japanese lights-shades. Then the movie starts, the sound system just amazes you. The acoustics are perfect, no extra bass or treble, the surround is just so live like. Even the most stupidest movie will grow on you sitting in the hall. The seats are very comfortable, that you could ignore that there is not much of leg space. Then interval time and you need to take a leak, you enter the loo, it blows your mind further, above each urinal hangs a 15 inch LCD screen which plays trailers of forth coming flicks.
Then you walk to the snack counter there is an insane line so I ditch the idea of buying my pop corn. Then I head back to experience the movie. The entire experience leaves you so spell bound that you would just want to return not for the movie but to experience the plush luxury of the Multiplex, The owner is sure creative and passionate to his work. Satyam sure makes you feel international.
