Sometime in Feb, 2014 I visited this school and I instantly like the school for its location, photos of Dr. APJ & Birds etc. is very impressive; we moved from Bangalore and we hoped it will be similar experience like his previous school.
However our son had tough time for the entire year & so was for our family; right from the bus staff to class teacher everyone has created some kind of fear in the name of discipline. We tried to communicated with Teachers but they were not ready to show empathy rather probably thought we are too soft parents. Our son cried for almost a year; initially we thought its just a place change and no friends etc and it will go away . but it was a year long ordeal for us
so what he didn't like in the school;
Facilities not up to mark; benches, storage in class, cleanliness etc is average
Rating system is school based on counting bad points than counting good points . sensitive kids gets shut
Support staff is not well trained and mostly form nearby villages
Bus drivers and Tai's have attitude like PMT bus . three kids on one seat
School dress is Zabba/Kurta . seems like non issue but it appears forced on kids so unless you really believe that wearing old style dress will make your kids mind sharp . its not useful in my opinion
Value for fees paid is low; teachers are not well trained on child management
Very far from city; on hill top
English is not a corridor language I know there are some parents who like this school, therefore please don't judge it only by my experience; my suggestion is as follows;
If you are local person and have strong affinity to discipline this school may be just OK for you; But if you are moving in from big multicultural cities like Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi etc. chances are that you will not find it up to mark
