Hey theres a new kid on the block ! And its with a difference.

Nope its not your regular joint family scene.
This serial is about a hospital and doctors.
The life of the doctors - professional
as well as personal.

The serial takes us through the trials and problems of doctors who fight a constant battle against disease and death.
It shows us how doctors struggle and go out of their way to save lives, help people, and make a difference in our life when we need them most.

The main characters in this serial is a group of 4 interns.

1. Dr. Rahul Mehra - son of Dr Yash Raj Mehra, a famous cardiac surgeon in Sanjivani Hospital. Rich, Smart and Bold...has aspirations of becoming a top doctor someday just like his father.

2. Dr. Juhi Singh - Orphaned at an early age, this high spirited, cute and sincere doctor came from Simla to Mumbai. Now she stays with her grandma and also is an intern in Sanjivani.

3. Dr. Simran Chopra - The sweetest of em’ all. Simran is Rahul’s best friend. They have known each other since childhood and have always been together. Simran is completely in love with Rahul.

4. Dr. Omi Joshi - Omi or Umesh is a doctor who heals by spreading cheer.
He’s the funniest of them all and the most level headed too.

There’s also lots of other supporting actors such as Mohnish Bhel who plays Dr. Shashank Gupta who is too involved in his work.
And theres a Dr. Madhavi whose is played by Ketaki Dave. She looks so much more classy here !

This is serial is good because its not just about the medical profession, but more than that, it is about the lives of people who are regarded as miracle workers - who help us when we feel helpless against diseases, illnesses and death. Also it shows us the truth of the functioning of hospitals such as when they refuse to operate, no matter how critical the patient is, until someone has remitted the fees. And how at times like this Doctors come forward and offer to help.

This serial is nice and it comes every Wednesday at 9pm on Star Plus.
