Dr Atul patil had done surgery very well for wrist bone fracture & dislocation. Casualty staff was good too.
However, our subsequent experience with OPD(Out patient department)for cast and k wire removal has been very bad. Each time different Dr comes to see the patient and they need to be told the patients history. They have no emotional connect with patient and behave very mechanically.
The receptionists and staff in OPD are very untrained and irresponsible.
When we went for Cast removal, followed by k wire removal, they made us wait for hours to see the Dr, and meet him following our x ray. Punctuality is at its worst.
The staffwho was removing cast handled the patient very roughly.
The assistant Dr who removed k wire was very very untrained and he was shouting at patient only that there will be no pain and once the patient was moaning in pain due to his rough handling, they asked me to get bandage urgently. Dont they know it is required before hand! They behaved as if it was the first wrist injury case they are handling. Thoroughly disgusted with how such a reputed Hospital has such a bad post-Op handling in OPD
