Recently I stayed at Residence Inn Marriot in Oyster Point in San Francisco South. The location is picturesque and scenic with bay water on one side and the Freeway(route101) on the otherside in the backdrop of tall mountains. Surprisingly the weather was great for an autumn November.
You may observe a striking contrast in this location - the bay side is peaceful, clam and serene with long winded cycling cum pedestrian path for weight-watchers whereas you can hear the zooming cars and trucks in the freeway even at late night. Thousands of boats and yachts of all sizes are parked in the bay bank staring at the walkers and cyclists in mute silence.
Overlooking the snaking walkways you will notice a number of small business houses and industries with not much noise and dirt. There are a lot of car park areas along the baybanks.
The walkways are well maintained and look clean and inviting. The entire stretch is flanked by tall &uclyptus trees and green medows and lawns. You will notice holidayers fishing & walking, parents helping children learn cycling and lovers romancing especially during weekends when the weather God is merciful and the sun shines! Families enjoying outdoor picnics is a common sight.
I enjoyed my stay with long walks and occasional picnics with my family members. You must visit this place during summer and spring.
