hello friends, finally bought it after about a year of waiting!! Until then i have bided my time reading other people’s reviews out here. Now finally get to add my own two bits ;) (and since i am only adding to the review of this phone by others i have skipped on detailing all the features the phone is coming bundled with) First of all the display is good. Secondly for the price (got it at 9K) it is good vfm. Features..., i am still experimenting and i guess it will all turn out ok.
getting back to working on this review about a month later now. the big CONS are that this handset is not supported like nokia for various applications by network service providers. i guess for them (service provier) the default standards are nokia handsets. Also the player supports only mp3 files and that too at bit rates not over 128K. Another con is that u cannot listen to FM without handsfree kit. Videos and pics taken with phone are of good quality. Also voice recording and sound playback (external dual stereo speakers) is good quality. all in all its a phone that can b recomended over several other comparative models of nokia and sony ericsson. Breaking news: LG offering much better deal with identical features of Samsung sgh-x700 two models dynamite 200 for 6.5K (without bluetooth) & dynamite 300 for 9K (bluetooth+2 mp camera). LG ad is silent on the external speakers if any.
