hi guys...i bought samsung X700 some two months ago for a price of 9300RS.i went through several wbsites including mouthshut.com to search the reviews about samsung X700.i was amazed to see the positive
responses about this phone.
some of the positive features about this phone are;
1)camera quality: it has a 1.3 megapixel camera with 4x zoom.the pics taken from this phone is really awesome.i have pasted a photo taken from this phone in this review.in terms of camera quality samsung X700 is the clear winner.video recording is upto an hour.
2)stereo mp3 player and FM radio: this phone has two stereo speakers.supports mp4 aac aac+ f
iles mmf,m3u and many other formats.
3)expandable memory,bluetooth,262k colour screen,USB mass storage option,wap 2.0 are some of the other features.
4)For the price 9k.data cable,stereo headset,64MB micro SD card is included in the kit.
the other phones in the same price tag are nokia 3230 sony ercsson Z550i. when we compare the above phones to samsung X700.nokia 3230 plays mp3 in mono.also the phone has unstability problems.software problems.camera is not too good etc.Z550i is a clamshell model(clamshells are not successful in india),the camera quality comes nowwhere when compared to samsung X700.

Well after putting my review on this site couple of weeks ago a lot of people are asking about the battery life of samsung X700.so i thought that i have to go for a battery test.i charged my battery full on 7th Dec at 4pm.so here is what i did.on first day listened FM radio for an hour through headphones then played MP3 for 45 minutes through speakers and i had about 30 mins calls from my friends and 12 sms.on second day i used bluetooth to send 3 songs(about 15MB) to my friend’s nokia 6630.listened to FM radio for about 40 mins and MP3 for about an hour through speakers. i had calls about 20 mins and 6 sms.third day i didn’t use FM radio but used MP3 for about an hour.had calls for about 30 mins and 8 sms.and the battery was fully discharged at 11 30 pm on 9th december lasting for about 55 hours and 30 mins(nearly 2 and half days).LCD brightness was set to full during this test(in samsung X700 we can reduce the LCD brightness for better battery life).and yes i took about 15 pics from the amazing camera of samsung X700 during this battery test.well in couple of days i will upload some pics taken from X700.thank you.
