hi everybody,
well, i am back with one more review on samsung X700... in my last review of sony K750i , i discussed 4 options for the mobile freak ppl, that were Moto V3i, K750i, LG 2500 and Samsung
X700.
during this period i personally used all these 4 options ( getting friends to cooperate here so this review is dedicated to my friend circle who cooperated with me , giving even almost all the details and infact using J2me and Java programing test to evaluate these all)
the verdict is clear.......... the winner is ..................... the consumer :-)
ahmm ... i know that its too vague but let me take you to a sojourn of these 4 sets...
in simple words if you dont want to exceed your budget more than 10 k then samsung x700 is great to buy.
the difference between K750i and samsung is 2mp camera and 1.3 mp camera... plus the image of Sony vs Samsung.
perosnally i will prefer Samsung for following reason.

1 better user interface ( though it depends more on the actual user )
2 clear voice recpetion ( no doubt in that , samsung is always known for this usp)
3 better signal recpetion( we have used many tests but conclusion is always same its samsung
x700 scales around 3-5hz better than sony k750i)
X 700 is having dual speakers ( yep thats true folks) K750i is having mono speaker. if you are
a connossiure of muzic then voila here is your Ipod without any extra cost .( though Ipod is still an
ipod , no one can beat its sound quality)
5  Better flash drive use

there are still some disadvantages attached with this almost perfect set
1 you cant minimize Mp3 player ( huh.. i wonder y they forget it , it could require only 3 set of code
    generation)
2 the user cant change the themes. .. a huge disappointment for picture loving folks
3 you can block the sms from 10 people ( the blacklisted ppl, but you cannt block the phonesfrom
them , while sony is much better in this reagrd and off-late Nokia is experimenting in this
believe me, in todays time this facilty is much of the use , since you always have some nugging
neighbour, or friends..( i do have many , since i owe them money :-)) )
4  Java applications are disaapointing but so as with K750i
5  the battery life of samsung is again a huge disappointment whereas K750i is still going on
6   the resale value of samsung is always been poor in comparison with sony

even with these cons, i appreciated Samsung as one time solution for the ppl who need decent combination of Camera, Mp3 player, Fm radio, and clarity of voice.....

the feel of K750 is more manlike that is big, square, and sharp edges while Samsung has more curves ....
1 note on Moto V3i- the phone is though looks sexiest among all but using its software and downloading songs in its play list is such a cumbersome affair that you might kill yourself in desparation..
if you are style conscious then you might go for it as the phone is like a style ikon and giving
many freebeeis like lather puch and all..
