Well, its not an AC, its a BC - Bad Conditioner

I got into buying this one, even after my bad experience with Samsung refrigerator (read about it on mouthsut.com) since I met a number of people who had a good experience with a 1.5T window A/C

Here is what I have experienced with Samsung AC

1. All of its various modes like energy saving etc are useless if you want to sleep without waking up  
   to a warm room in the night.
2. It can never attain and retain 18 degree C or for that matter 20 degree C. The room specification
    matches the tonnage. It will keep turning on and off through out the time its running.
3. The serivice engineer says that 18 degree is a test condition and it can’t handle high Delhi temperature.
    Pray, why sell your products in Delhi it it can’t handle it.
4. As with the refrigerator, we ran into cooling trouble in the second season itself and they again took
   more than 1 attempt to fix it.
5. In its 3rd season the Samsung engineers gave up on it. Its compressor won’t start. They said don’t run it below 24 degree C.

Finally, I got a local guy to look at it. He seems to have fixed it by replacing a condensor. Lets see how long it will last this season.
