The Last Phone You Will Buy From Samsung. Review on Samsung Z2

That's right. Or perhaps that's what Samsung thought when they launched the tizen line of Z1, Z2, Z3 phones. The objective is clear: to prevent users from going to googleplay apps and divert all that money to Samsung.

I did not notice the "android not available" note in very small print on Snapdeal's page for this mobile. My trusted LG OPTIMUS E 612 was not RAM upgradeable(another way to force us to replace our phones every other year). So when a smartphone for under 5000 caught my eye, I jumped at it. But it proved a very costly mistake.

Living conditions are already hard here because of demonetisation. So phones that cannot accommodate money transfer apps like paytm and BHIM are useless here. Because Samsung was a reputed brand(I thought so), I didn't bother too much to check everything. But it seems the greed for profits made them forget who is the actual source of their profit. Maybe they thought their buyers will never again buy a phone from them.

Snapdeal does not refund this phone if you want to return it.

I had no idea that SAMSUNG has developed their own OS. If only I'd known, I wouldn't have ordered this. SAMSUNG has restricted me to using ONLY THEIR APPS and which are pitifully few compared to the android app collection.

I am missing these vital apps:

Money transfer by scanning(PAYTM), BHIM app(Govt. of India app for money transfer), Navigation app with voice guidance, Stock market tracking apps.

By avoiding BHIM app, Samsung is not acting in the interests of India as a nation. The Govt. is trying to promote the use of digital money transfer. .

4700 Rs. is peanuts to them, but not to the Aam Admi. Woe to you Samsung, for betraying our trust, .
