You can read the prior review for specification . no issues with the phone. It has everything what a basic phone needs expect for the memory sucks not even 1 mb.
SOUND facto:- the sound folder and the image folder is as blank as a nicely wiped blackboard.though the ringtones provided are pretty loud and have a nice tingling ringing sound the 16 polyphonic is paisa vasool.the radio is loud and thats nice espically in crowed BEST buses.Tuning the radio is a labourious process but is worth the pains.i sorely missed the volume buttons .
THE ADDONS :- There is a calender, memo and to do list which is very handy and a voice memo for those times when pen paper arent in reach.(those address and telephone numbers).
SLIM AND SEXY :-the looks are really sleek and anything slimmer than this might break in to two.This phone screams "LOOK AT ME" .
LIVING WITH THE PHONE :-The phone is not for rugged or sport use but strictly for 9 to 5 office work(Radio for those times when boss is not around and you desperately want to know the match preecedings (score)). the buttons are nice except for the navigation button which is very hard to press but other wise it has a nice feel to it .you can clearly see the screen in bright sunlight .
The phone is so light you hardly feel its weight in your pocket.you will need to deliberately feel your pocket to self assure yourself if the cell is still with you or has it been misplaced.The sound reception is good.you can even hear the whispers.the ear phones or very loud and one needs to keep in check the volume levels if one wants to retain ones hearing abilities.all in all I love this phone and guess even you will start appreciating its strengths as you start using this little marvel.
BUYING EXPERIENCE:- brought my piece from 9 pea marketing(ghatkopar)for about 2700 INR. (he is a little snobish gujju bhai but offers the best deals )the nokia 2600 bought from him was horrible and I took it back to him the very next day but forget replacement he didnt even take a look at my phone that sucked.) .mine is a silver black colored phone
BATTERY LIFE AND USAGE:- The battery lasts for more than 2 days with normal usage Of telephonic communication and a small amount of radio playing.the back ground sucks except for the purple screen saver and the cherries are hillarious(if you know what I mean)the phone has 7 to 8 screen savers and about the same amont of ringtones .
THINGS I DONT APPRECIATE MUCH IN THIS PHONE:-The animations are slow and boring.the screen resolution is not upto the mark (i am used to sony ericsson screens).Its difficult to find ringtones on net and more than that I have no idea how to transfer them to the cell.the cricket game provided with the cell sucks.I seroiusly doubt if the radio is a stereo, I havent experienced any stereo effect in this cell.
THE MOBILE TRACKER:- The c170 rocks at the price you are getting it at.also what the hell is the mobile tracker funda .i still havent come in terms with it.have to do a little R&D about it. will keep you updated .signing off for now love maxj11
