Simple, Elegant and worth for your money. Review on Samsung SGH-C230

I Bought Samsung SGH-C230 4 months back, I am very much satisfied with it.

This small cute handset is very light weight, stylish and very simple to use, my mother learnt using this new mobile in just a matter of 1 hour, though she never got hang of mobiles earlier.

By first look you do not feel it is better than its competitor, but as you use it, it is really better than its competitors in many ways.

Easily u notice that it

• Cute, Sleek & Stylish, User Friendly keys and very attractive look including hands free, though it has only one color

  
  




• Has excellent color display (out beats Nokia color displays in its class)

  
  




• Has excellent reception quality.

  
  




• Comes with good inbuilt ring-tones

  
  




• Nice facility for battery hole.

  
  

When you start using it you notice that it

• Can use for longer duration with out any battery or heating problems unlike its predecessors.

  
  




• Has good games, I love them whenever I have to wait for my girl friend :-), or I am traveling with annoying movie in the bus.

  
  




• The keypad and menu are designed scientifically, though the keypad is little small for my fingers, I find the short cuts in each menu as excellent use. To explain you how helpful are these shortcuts, consider if you enter Display Settings, you see the menu items prefixed with numbers 1:Wallpaper 2:BackLight 3:Contrast etc., now if u press 3 you directly land in contrast settings section, you do not have to scroll as you do in Nokia handsets.

Only problem or annoying factor I saw is

1. Even missed calls number do appear in your recent dialed number list

   
   




2. It is little time consuming to unlock the keypad, it takes at least 2-4 seconds

   
   




3. No good inbuilt wallpapers and color themes

   
   

Overall excellent, competitive product in its class, but still lot of room left for improvement.

I recommend any one to buy this model in price range of 4K-10K, if you are looking for pleasure and peace of mind in owning a mobile handset
