I bought a Samsung ml 1610 laser printer in February 2010. The printer gave me about 20 to 25 satisfactory printouts before starting to give problems. First, papers started jamming and then suddenly total black pages started coming out from the printer. I booked a call with the Samsung service centre. The service centre gave me a call back after sometime and gave me all sorts of funny suggestions like taking out the cartridge and shaking it left and right but none of the jugglery worked. The service engineer came after 2 days and said that there was some problem with the main board. He changed the board after 3 days but the problem remained the same. He then said that he had to take back the cartridge with him for checking.
After a few days time, he came back and refitted the cartridge. The problem was temporarily solved only to start again. After taking 10 to 12 more print outs I suddenly found that no printout was coming. Only the blank paper is coming out with mild grey spots. I tried again to call the service engineer but this time he is not picking up my phone.for the last fifteen days. The customer care number also could not be connected for the last 4 days.
I am totally frustrated with the SAMSUNG printer and the service. please help me if anyone can.
