My 40" LED Samsung J5100 is just about over an year old. Bought from Vijay Sales, Gurgaon. And the upper half of the screen has developed clouds which are very prominent on lighter background.
My earlier LCD was also a Samsung which I used for 6 years without a problem but looks like Samsung has compromised it quality checks of late. I feel like I have wasted Rs 45000 on this crappy box. While I was researching for another 50" a couple of months ago, a few salesmen mentioned about this problem with Samsung TVs. I didn't take it seriously but I thankfully chose Panasonic. I would sincerely advise people to stay away from Samsung, let alone paying a premium of 10-15K for this unfortunately overrated brand.
