I did not find the model listed in MS for samsung Galaxy and hence listing it here. When I bought this phone, this was the only phone available in android version(Gingerbread) for CDMA. So it was a forced choice. I wanted to go for android. Blackberry was just hopelessly costly and buggy.

Just one word of CAUTION. Stay AWAY from this phone. This has got one of the most horrible battery life I have ever seen. With a standard talk time of 2 hrs daily, I have to charge it twice daily. God knows what will happen after 6 months. (IT's just 3 months old now). The new 1200maH battery costs 580. It's advisable to carry a fully charged spare battery everyday if you are going out. Carry 2 batteries if you are on a day long trip and expect few calls with no charging option.

Camera could have been better than 2mp. Even at 2MP it's not up to the mark. You will lose precious moments with the camera with not so good video/still pictures.

This phone goes damn slow at times. Even a single touch screen click takes mins. Reboot fixes it. Stand-by time is almost 12 hrs without talking.

Android phones are not much different from each other. In that sense it's ok.In-built phone memory is too little. After installing google map and facebook with yahoo, you are hardly left with any space for installation of other apps. So in short no space for installing android apps. Serious trouble this is and frustrating.

If you keep the phone on the table, you cannot hear the ringtone of incoming calls. The speaker is at the backside but somehow the design puts the entire weight of the phone at the speaker and hardly any sound comes out when phone is ringing (at full volume).

At Rs8450, I  don't vote for it. It's just not worth.
