My first smartphone ever was the SAMSUNG Galaxy Grand duos. I purchased it for approx for Rs. 22, 000/- when it was newly launched. It came with 5 inch capacitive touch screen, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB internal storage, built in FM Radio, Dual SIM, 8 MP rear camera, 2 MP front camera and with some other stuff. and with 2000 mah powered removable battery. In Samsung devices one factor I like most is the feasibility of having removable battery. But in Galaxy grand duos, the battery life is very bad. With normal usage we can get the battery life upto 12 hours only. And with the heavy usage we can hardly get the battery life around 3 hours on screen time. This is very embarrassing and at that time of battery draining only the device gets heated up to max. 43 - 47 degrees. And when comes to the design of the device the design is influenced from the traditional Samsung devices. The other major issue with the Galaxy grand duos is it actually hangs 2 times a day at most of the times(or) 2 times for 2 days. The camera performance is good. And the battery actually drains very fastly. This is because we have to charge the mobile twice a day. And charging gets very slowly. it would be nice if they have provided the fast charging at the launch of the mobile. And as the mobile screen is wide, So we cannot handle the mobile and we cannot touch the every corner of the screen with our thumb. So its better to buy the separate stylus as the company does not provides it. I think its better to go for GALAXY GRAND PRIME(or) GALAXY GRAND MAX rather than galaxy grand duos because the grand duos lags in speed and it usually hangs in most of the times and it is sluggish. And one thing I like in this mobile is camera and the flash. The flash is so powerful that we can use it as a torch light. I hope you had understand my opinion and liked my review. Thank You.
