I wanted to share my problem regarding my handset with you.
Since I brought my phone I had been having Random restarting issue with set namely samsung max F679.
Within one month of purchasing the phone, this problem started arising.right after discovering the problem I went to the customer care center Samsung customer care nehru place.The phone being under the warranty period was repaired free of cost.only some firmware was reinstalled.the concerned person told us, if the problem persists then you would have to get the motherboard changed.
Recently on 23/11/2009, new problem cropped up on my handset.i usually switch off my phone at night before sleeping.the next day I switched on my handset and as soon as the samsung loading screen came on it started restarting continuously as soon as status bar was filled.I took it to Samsung electronics again and I was charged 55Rs for reloading of software during the time period of repair no information was provided nor the set was repaired on time. just excuses were given and delayed until higher authorities were talked to.
The phone started working fine.TILL day before yesterday. the same problem came up."restart problem" even in the slip it was written the same alongwith minor scratches due to wear and tear on the phone. I again took it to the same center.this time I was given an estimate of around 600Rs.When I left for home. i received another call that made my blood boil.I was given a new estimate of 1400Rs which included 275 labour charges Non-working LCD and Some cable.i refused to pay the amount and asked to return the phone.they forced me to sign a document that said that I was satisfied with the job done else they wouldnt return me the phone. As, I didnt bring my phone's battery sim card or mini sd card, "as they always return the things", when I came back I put my battery in along with the sim card, The lcd was actually non working all I could see was random lines on the screen alongwith slight vibration.Last time I was charged minimal amount and now they asked me to pay such a huge amount WHICH THESE PEOPLE FURNISHED ON THEIR OWN BY SWAPPING THE LCD OF MY CELLPHONE? PERSON REFERRING TO-MAQSOOD .
This phone never came down cheap. it was priced at 7k as soon as the warranty is over your phone starts giving me a problem and later on you force the people to extortion?
Blackmailing them to sign the paper else their phone wont be returned back?
Not giving any customer review form at the center.And just a showpiece box on which consumer review is written?VERY NICE!
SAMSUNG, EAT DUNG!
I think I should go for a Chinese made one which offers much more durability like one my DaD's using for past 2 years.
ANYWAYS I THOUGHT I WOULD LET YOU KNOW THE REPUTATION OF SAMSUNG INDIA ON THE INTERNET.

UPDATE:- AN EMAIL was dispatched to samsung India customer care on 3rd Jan today being 14th January, I haven't received a single call from their representative.
