Been using my C5212 for about a month and a half. This happens to be the least expensive branded dual phone available in the market AFAIK. Here are my feedbacks:

  1. I am very impressed at how well it manages dual SIM. Dedicated SIM button is very convenient. Very good flexibility. E.g., can swap to calls or make calls from the other SIM when on calls.

  2. You should expect higher consumption of battery. It is like running two cars with one engine(both SIMs keep hunting for signal at all times). And if you are traveling, it gets worse. So I am not surprised. But I have not run out of battery in spite of my traveling and high usage. I charge once in a day(or two days sometimes). There is a provision to disable on of the SIMs without having to physically remove that I use sometimes when I travel. Also the USB cord that connects to the computer is a useful alternative to charge when at work.

  3. My main complaint with this phone is that a single socket serves the charger, the computer(USB) connection and the ear-phone. Which means I can't use the ear-phone when charging. This, and perhaps some more points that follow may be my feedback on Samsung(against Nokia that I have been using so far) rather than specifically this model.

  4. My second main complaint is that I can not read / write in Hindi or other Indian languages with this phone.

  5. The keypad unlock system(long hold*) is not as convenient.

  6. It forgets additional words added to the dictionary. Maybe it has a VERY small memory space allocated to this?

  7. 200 SMS message limit is too less. The salesman mentioned that I will not be able to boost it up even if I add additional memory, and that is bad.

  8. I have noticed that occasionally it does not store the last call information in the log. The log shows the previous call instead

  9. The display and appearance of the phone is neat. Not fancy at a ll, but very presentable. It does not look cheap given its value-focus

  10. You cannot record a phone conversation! Something many low end phones offer in today's world

  11. Options during call are not designed well. I cannot see the log(so if somebody calls when I am on a call, I can't message back unless I have that number stored on my contacts). I cannot go to the menu when the call is on. And if I am on mute, I need to go to options to select unmute(the right key does not change to unmute as my Nokia phone's does).

  12. The software to transfer from and to the computer is not very user friendly. But t's existence and use is great. When I am on data management mode, the phone becomes unusable.

  13. You can record radio!

  14. My impression of voice clarity(and volume) is good.

  15. Quite good camera(given my low expectations). Had an occasion where I shot a screen on my comp to grab an address I was rushing to, and it was clear enough for me to use. I thought it was great for a mobile cam.

  16. I have already had this phone fall for a couple of times with no damage.  So I think it is sturdy enough

On the whole, I am happy with the phone. After a month plus, I am still excited. I will recommend this to my friends(already have). Especially to those who need 2 phones(e.g., official and personal).
