I bought a samsung 1.5 ton split AC from vijay sales in november 2013.
From day 1 remote sensor in the unit was not working. They fixed it.
Within less than 1 year it stopped cooling, so I called service center, they sent a technician & was told that there is gas leakage. Have to fill up gas and it will cost around Rs.2, 300. So I had to pay that. again within 2 months same problem gas leakage, they refilled it free of cost. Again same problem in 2 months, now they said have to change condenser, because there is leakage in condensor. I said please change it, as it was under warrant. Condensor came with 3 years warranty and compressor 5 years warranty.
They wanted the warranty card which I had lost and without that they would charge me for new condensor, which would run in thousands of rupees. I did have the original bill from vijay sales, but they wanted only warranty card, which I had lost. I requested them a lot, spoke to vijay sales, then their service center Sai Enterprise in goregaon, but all in vain. Finally I had get a local technician and got copper condensor fixed at my cost and I was told by my local technician that the compressor fitted in the AC is of very bad quality.
It did cooling for some time and it has stopped cooling now again. Now I have to spend thousands of Rupees again for new AC. Nobody is willing is to give anything for this old AC
I have original bill from vijay sales, but they want only warranty card, which I have lost, I I requested them to give me another warranty card, but bluntly said NO. And the service center manager or owner is so rude that, he use to hung up phone while I am complaining to him.
This is only to share that do not buy any samsung products.
