I am sharing my experience on “Sams Teach Yourself JavaScript in 24 Hours” by Michael Moncur which is one of the best books on the JavaScript language. It is beneficial for those who want to learn JavaScript from basic level and develop their skills to a higher level. It is also a useful book for web developers and those students who want to build their career in web design & development.

This book has been divided into six sections: - Introducing the Concept of Web Scripting and the JavaScript Language, Learning JavaScript Basics, Learning More About the DOM, Working with Advanced JavaScript Features, Building Multimedia Applications with JavaScript and Creating Complex Scripts that includes topics like  Understanding JavaScript, Working with the Document Object Model (DOM), Creating Simple Scripts , Using Variables, Strings, and Arrays, Controlling Flow with Conditions and Loops, Responding to Events, Working with Style Sheets, AJAX: Remote Scripting, Using Graphics and Animation, Working with Sound and Plug-in, Creating JavaScript Applications,  Building JavaScript Drop-down Menus and many more.
