You may or maynot agree with the title of my review after reading my experience at Sahib Sindh Sultan. A Saturday night my friend,his fiancee and myself visited Sahib Sindh Sultan for dinner. We were tha last to enter the restaurant. It was around 11pm and we realised that all the crew members of lovely train(ambience of restaurant is like a luxary train) were in a hurry to close. They gave us a pathetic service starting from the napkins not placed on the table to orders coming late. We had ordered some starters and soups. After asking 5 times we received our soups while the starters came in last after we had finished our dinner. I can state some more examples here of bad service that night but this review is not for their bad service but to appreciate about how they made are evening.
We had gone there to celebrate my friend’s Birthday and the evening was kind of spoiled because of the service. We called the manager and explained him the service given to us. Now comes the real hospitality gesture. The manager did not charge us anything for the dinner( but this was not we were much happy about as our evening was spoiled.) Then the manager asked us to wait for 2 minutes. It was 12:00 Midnight. Manager had asked his crew to play Birthday song on the music system and suddenly a big cake was brought on our table. We were amazed. We had not expected this. I have not seen even a single restaurant making up for their mistake like this. Our day was made. Seriously this gesture is a perfect example of good Hospitality. I believe Sahib Sindh Sultan is a perfect place to spend your evening with your spouse/family.
Hats off to crew of Sahib Sindh Sultan.
