Sahib was my favorite restaurant till I attended the New Year dinner there. The whole thing was a rip off. Here’s why:
- ’Unlimited’ Champagne was supposed to be part of the deal but I was surprised to find that the same is served only at 12:00 am and that too in an un professional manner with half the champagne getting served to the dining table. BTW, the champagne was limited. Why promise something and give something else ? Why start serving only at 12:00 am ? I don’t belive this celebration at 12:00 am bullshit. If you have paid for it you must get it when you ask for it.
-As soon as it was 12:15, most guests were ’provided’ bills even before they could finish eating.

But don’t get me wrong. I have visited the place many times and have loved it each time. The New Year dinner was a mess up though. The folks at the reception are rather curt over the phone but the waiters and managers are very courteous.
