This book appeared to go on for eternity. Furthermore, the creator invested such a great amount of energy in the securing of slaves and the play and Erasmus(ugh, Erasmus), and no time at all on the things I truly thought about-the shipwreck/grounding, the set up of the settlement and battles and triumphs in that, black and white people living respectively as equivalents in that day and age and the refinement of the slaves and so on. What's more, why did we read such a great amount about Sarah, just for Erasmus not to wed her? Furthermore, the play.This book was an extremely odd concoction of The Heart of Darkness and some Jane Austen-esque fizzled romance story. I needed to battle a considerable measure to finish this book and understanding this book was only a misuse of my time.
