Not only Pune I did my booking thru their Head office in Dadar and was totally cheated. One of the worst experience in my entire life- this is for Sanket holidays a part of Sachin Travels -reached Srinagar 19th May 2012 - no one to receive, traced out the driver from the parking area having 300 cars. reached Srinagar no hotels booked at all, called the Mumbai office Priyanka Salunke. She told us to go to sterling hotel where there were no bookings, had promised house boat that too not done, reached Srinagar at 1 pm and was on the road running pillar to post in the rain and hungry with kids with no confirmed hotel.
Had paid 30 K per passenger for 4 of us and landed up in some Sidiqqui Palace which looked like rooms shown in movies covering the red light areas. It was so filthy we refused to stay and asked to book us return flights the very day as none of our bookings were not done. Finally we searched for a liveable hotel by 8pm.
One Mr. Javed was sent to us at 11 pm to coordinate and help out, luckily this guy was trustworthy and after looking at our condition helped us book hotels for the rest of our trip. we were on tenterhooks till the end of our trip. All the phones were dead there, only my prepaid worked. In spite of telling them time and again, Priyanka had not bothered to check whether the Hotels were confirmed or not and simply issued vouchers.
No one should ever travel by Sachin and its Sanket is a nightmare. these people are looters having cheap sub agents who then hand it over to another person till you land up in a hotel which is similar to a cowshed cum brothel. none of the for which vouchers were given were actually given.
PLEASE PLEASE BEWARE!!
