I bought Sharp Inverter Split AC in March 2013. Model No. AHXP18MV (1.5 ton) .
The reason we bought this was:
It has the same compressor which O General uses i.e, from Toshiba.
The Price is much lesser than O General. (Bought it from Vijay Sales in New Delhi, Patel Nagar)
It has the Sharp Patent Technology of Plasma cluster Ion technology. This is a must for those who have nasal Allergies.
Basically if you live near a major Road / state highway or national Highway or near factories, near airport, Inter state bus terminals or a place of high pollution,, please ensure to buy this as only this can save your children of aging parents from respiratory problems,, especially during the pollination period i.e, around Feb March and near Diwali season..
I am very happy with the AC hence I bought 2 more ACs,,, the service as of now is ok as when I called the Vijay Sales guys asking them to check why the AC some times emits certain smell,, they quickly pointed out that the clean function on the remote would be used every 15 days as there is huge construction of building and extension of road happening around my house.

What I was surprised about was that not most of the sales person knew about either Plasmacluster or inverter technology. They are stupid enough to say what ever they want to like why Inverters ACs do not have star ratings,, what does ions er do and what does the plasma cluster do..and what does the Inverter do..so thank fully I have interacted with the best in the market and thought of sharing it with every body..
I hope Sharp does not hire any Bollywood star as we customers will have to end u paying for the money paid to the stupid celebs..
