I own a thunderbird 500 from royal enfield. It has best pickup as compared to other bikes and comfort too.
I bought this bike 1yr and 9 months back and till now this bike has not given any problem to me. I have covered long distances on this bike and it never allowed me to complaint about anything. Though after the speed of 100km/hr some vibrations creep in but those are bearable and does not disrupt your riding. Royal enfield for the first time introduced digital speedometer with this bike. Apart from other royal enfield models the speedometer of this bike shows clock, average speed used and digital fuel indicator bars which is a big achievement for the company.
You get led parking head light with projector headlamp as standard in this bike. At the rear you get led tail light for better visibility to other riders on road. The comfort of seats is good as well as the rider does not feel tired.
Average on this bike which I am getting is 40km/litre.
So if you are planning to buy this bike then go ahead as it is better equipped with efi technology which uses direct fuel injection rather than carburator on other models.
