I experience the royal enfield diesel engine bike 3 year ago. Royal enfield comes with a good idea of making diesel engine because of cheap rate of diesel but this experiment goes wrong. It will also give starting troubles in winters and also the cooling system does not work properly in summers. Comfort of the driver will destroyed by the noise pollution of diesel engine.
The mileage of the royal enfield is 15 kmpl mainly on standard road conditions. The royal enfield petrol engine is much better than this diesel engine. High maintenance cost is required in the diesel engine. Also, the service of the bike is very rare due to less efficient workers of diesel engine bike. Many time it gives starting trouble and gear adjustment problem too.
If anybody wants to buy the diesel engine bullet then please drop out the idea from your mind its very costly product. I give 2 stars only for a brand of royal enfield.
