Here, I will share my personal experience with the royal enfield classic 350 ( chestnut) which I have been using for about 5 months.
The price range is the first issue - not worth 1.35 lakhs.
Well maybe if you consider the fact that the brand name has a price , but not otherwise.
Shape and build- very powerful manly look and comfortable seating position for short rides. Build is strong and durable.
Performance - the stability of the vehicle is immaculate and very apt for smooth slow rides.
Speed- the vehicle is not apt for speed driving. Max speed is 117 and it takes a lifetime to actually reach there.
The hard curves are not quite easy to handle without slowing down , mainly due to the weight of the vehicle and the shape. Gear systems are still oldschool and have not been updated. Acceleration can be thrilling with the sound of the machine but its only an illusion because the speed increment is nowhere near other bikes in similar price range.
Mileage- 32 km/litre is what I get on long journeys . Heavy traffic can bring it down to even 25.
Braking system - no ABS or disc braking. Biggest drawback.
All in all , the vehicle is heavily outdated but is okay if you are a rider who enjoys slow lazy rides. But for those junkies who get turned on by the 350cc engine, the machine fails to deliver you the thrill and I would suggest that you stay away from this bike.
