Road Ahead was one book that I read in 1999 in my company library. At the time I read.. it looked like a great book with a good peek into the future. In the present tense, it turns out that my applause and keen interest to read the book was more so because it was written by Papa Bill Gates.
Looking back there is nothing mind-blowing or extraordinary about the book but yes the writer indeed is. Bill also cites examples how technology will change human behaviour citing examples like that of a digital photo album in which you will delete/edit your marriage photo(as n when it turns sour) replacing it with that of your newly found love/ partner. Sloppy ideas and senses like these make it not much of an expected read.
Last but not the least, I am not disappointed with the book as it does gives you a glimpse into the mind of a man who though is not a good writer, yet has got his name written in golden words in World History.
