I own a Maruti Esteem LXi and it was the turn for the 4th paid service. I chose the option for a driver to pick it up and drop off after servicing.
1) My car was serviced and on return the car door
was DAMAGED.
2) The driver dropping the car off claimed that the damage existed PRIOR to service (inspite of him being the same driver picking the car up). On complaining to the service engineer I was told to return the car for REPAIR.
3) When I complained to the customer service manager and asked for the status, they were not even sure if the car was back in their facility (due to large number of cars lined up for service). Moreover, the service manager wanted to verify the service inspection worksheet before even believing my words that the car was damaged during service.
4) To top it all, they now have to REMOVE and REPAINT the repaired door because they used a WRONG SHADE of color.
It has taken now 5 days for a car service/inspection to be performed
