Let me first start with mentioning that this experience for my visit to Richfeel Bandra(Mumbai) clinic.
This is how it unfolded:
I was immediately suggested to go for Surgery rather than any medication
Instead of consulting my physician or any other consultation I was made to believe that surgery is the only option to go ahead
My credit card snapshot was also taken stating that it was for future purposes and would not be touched until I give a signed consent for surgery(I was naïve to believe this)
I had asked for time to think and in between repeatedly get innumerable calls and whatsapp messages to fix up a date for the surgery fast
I definitely felt things were a little fishy as my credit card snapshot was taken and was being coaxed in to surgery, however I left thinking it is one of the biggest Brands which is definitely not enduring any such malpractices.
However, things went from bad to worse after this:
After this I got a whatsapp of the tests to be done before surgery, I consulted to my physician who after checking my health suggested not to go ahead with the surgery
I informed this to Richfeel associate who was in touch with me and immediately told me that it was not possible to cancel the surgery and I would not get my refund(or the amount that I would get would be after deduction of charges)
When I heard this, I was left appalled since I did not swipe my credit card neither had done any signatures on any documents handed over to Richfeel Bandra clinic.
Also, the offer(Bajaj Financial Services) would have asked for my documents and these documents are not attested by me than how did the clinic go ahead without my consent to fix up a surgery?
This is not it,
The associate made me speak to the doctor who instead of being a courteous to listen to my decision not to go ahead, started speaking to me in loud voice stating that she wanted to vent out first on my decision since I had taken time! What is really wrong in that? It’s my body, I would decide as to how and when I can take this decision?
Apart from this, the worst experience I feel that this is not a clinic, its merely money making saloon which is not at all interested in patient’s health but rather minting money.
Rather than apologizing of the grave mistakes they are doing by forging documents and being considerate on my decision, they have asked for medical proofs from my such that they can cover up for the mistakes they have done.
One of the stupidest reasons citied of confidentiality of not sharing the document signed by me(as mentioned by them), if they are so sure of me signing a consent for surgery before completing the tests and all bank paper work – why isn’t it being shared with me?
I write this with hope to get justice to my plea(of which I am simply being victimized) and also ensure all the people visiting Richfeel to be careful about their visit to any of the Richfeel clinics.
