Don’t be fooled by the fancy website and frilly descriptions. I ordered from them on Apr 23rd 2009, before i ordered I decided to contact them to test their service. it was excellent. They used to
reply within hours to my emails! I was so pleased with this service so I decided to order. I got my payment confirmation and carried on with my day.

Then I waited and waited and nothing. 25 days have passed and nothing. No shipping confirmation or anything. So I decided to email them. And unlike before when they quickly replied to my emails I was brutally ignored. Maybe i was being paranoid, maybe their server was down and they just haven’t read my emails? So I decided to test this by setting up a fake account on yahoo. I emailed them pretending to query about some products and funnily enough they replied back to me on that day! I was shocked! The Scandal!

I tried ringing them but nothing, the number doesn’t even work. I might as well be ringing to an empty phonebox in the middle of the desert!

I know there are some postive reviews but these reviews are pretty old. I’ve previously ordered from them before (2007) and I was impressed with shipping times 9only took 20 days!). Myabe their business has just regressed from then and they are useless now.

You know what, I wouldn’t have cared if my products arrived late, All they needed to do was to reply to my email saying so and I would hav ebeen fine with it, instead of acting like an immature child and ignoring me.

Anyway it got sorted out, Visa were extremely helpful, I just phoned them telling them I wanted to have my money back because they didn’t deliver the goods. They then sent me a form in which i showed them copies of the crazy emails and hurrah my card was redibeted 20 days later It was really strange having great customer service because I was so used to being treated like dirt by renuka silks!

UPDATE 24/AUG/2009 - on the 24th July, I received a letter from VISA saying that renuka silks have taken my money back because apparently they shipped the items, well I’ve waiting for a MONTH and still nothing. In total i’ve been waiting for 4 months! This totally sucks! I’ve emailed them and they’re not replying. THIS IS DAYLIGHT ROBBERY!
