No doubt Renault Kwid is appealing but Renault has done so cost cutting in kwid. Lower variant gets 799cc engine which makes 53hp@5678rpm and Top variant gets 999cc engine which makes 67hp@5500rpm so thats normal for this price range but if we compare it with alto k10 then the car is lossing in the power part. From front the car has a bold chunky look and from back also car looks good with that small lights. That Black plastic which travels from bumper to bumper that gives the car a sporty look. Ok now coming to the interior, Dashboard quality is average, getting touch screen in the price range thats good but touchscreen is not of that good quality sometimes it lacks, 3 spoke steering wheel looks cool,
that sporty speedometer looks good, sporty ac vents, chrome garnish on ac wheels looks good. Front seats are comfortable but back seat lacks in thigh support and due to short legroom 6ft person would feel a bit tight at back.
While seating in front seat it feels a bit tight because of that bold look infront, the bonnet is plane not in a sloping way like other cars have, and somewhere beacuse of small glass area also. the car has 180mm ground clearance that is good because normally hatchback cars has 170mm ground clearance, and it has large boot space of 300L in its segment that is pretty impressing. The steering feels a bit heavy, because of its heavy weight car handles well while cutting at road edges.
Sometimes gear lacks and is bit chunky too. If you are planning to buy this car then I will tell you go and check out TATA TIAGO and Maruti Suzuki Celrio once then take a decision.(Guyzz this was my own thinking, what I think about the are driving it, so please don't take it in any offensive way) Peace.
