Remix... One of the most ridiculous dramas ever aired on the Indian screen. I had the ''luck'' of catching a few episodes, not for the show itself but the unintentional comedy it produces from tryna act really cool stuff. The setting of the show is in a school which seems like anything but one. Mind you, I myself graduated from one of the top international schools and there is nothing common in any aspects. This ''school'' is just about kids going out, breaking up, a band and all of them trying to prove to the world how cool they are. All of this is done by the use of crappy language which is supposedly extremely hip. ''Puhhhleeeezeeee'', an extended ''Duh.............uh''.... ''Wo...Oow'' ''A dooooood'', used 300 times in one sentence. If they miss a ''cool'' word in a sentence, it seems like a grammatical error. All this is supposed to be cool people's lingo, which certainly sounds so wannabe.
The show is extremely hollow, no real story, no student conspiracies, no aliens and no videogames and obviously no make-out scenes. There is always that dumb storyline about new teachers arriving, who are supposed to be extremely strict. Wannabes stealing each other's boyfriends or girlfriends.
To sum it up, the audience for this show are definitely people lacking any action in their lives. Or there is the prospect of watching these people to see the subtle comedy they produce.
