Agreed the name sounds a li'l gay, but dont go by that. This is one of the very very few shows that I watch nowadays(since i'm working out assignments otherwise), apart from the likes of gr8 indian laughter challenge and the simpsons.

The show takes place in a hypothetical school Maurya High, filled with mainly the wards of the rich and famous. The reason why this show has become popular is because of this:

Earlier there used to be shows for children, I repeat Children, not ppl in their mid-late teens. I mean for entertainment, you'd either have to watch Tom and Jerry or Will and Grace, there was nothing in between. This show fills the gap. Its fresh, its new, its not censored. What I mean is that its not like one of those shows on DD 1 etc where every child is projected as an incarnation of god and everybody wooshy wooshy. NO sir. This is somewhat real. Students mainly identify themselves with the characters. The show for once proves that adults arent the only one who are held up in complex situations regarding relationships, financial, image status, self respect and so on, but then thats how it is in reality isnt it. I mean no one's gonna watch the show if they start saying that all teachers are good, or stuff like cool schools like Maurya high limit the skirt to the knee, or ya know, that children dont do drugs.

And of course one more reason of the popularity of the show is coz its has a handful of hot lookers, lol, but is it just me or is Shweta Gulati aka Tiya really hot!

Aiite enough of that. So the story is that this rajasthani dude Ranvir comes to mumbai to avenge his fathers suicide due to his loss by the hands of one Mr Ahuja. So lets leave him to that. Then there's all sorts of ''items'' such as Na''cool'' and some lady potrayin herself as a witch, and the princi ''jumbo'', the bitchy latika. So the show mainly deals with the four protagonists, tiya, ranvir, yuvi and anvesha aka aashi. They form this band called remix, but in real life, tis just the wannabe popstars ''Aasma'' singin their stuff, and frankly it aint all that good either, I mean the songs, but then which kinda freak wud watch a TV show for its songs ?

so every now and then sumthing happens ya know like some gang beating someone up, or a teacher getting fired,or children sneaking outta skool or people gettin AIDS, nah jus kidding bout the last one, but yea a lotta hanky panky happens too.

The sitcom shows all the emotions of a teenage sou such as hatred, anger, horny nature, joy, fear, truimph. The cast has done a wonderful job, and it really looks like they mean everyword they say and not jus spittin crap they've just mugged up.(or else they wudnt get paid wud they).

It's amazing how quickly its become a trend to use ''pUhleez'' like tiya, or ''hey bhaggu''sport the long Yuvi look, and NO MY LONG HAIR ARENT INSPIRED FROM HIM. thank you.

Its a gre8 way to spend and hour. I'm thumbs up for it for sure!
