Today I experienced a fraud by remit2india. I used to like them so much and even used to recommend this service to my friends. I wont

do it any more. the first fraud was regarding the gold vouchers. They are offering gold vouchers to those hwo send money between 6th OCT till 5th November. "The gold voucher was supposed to be given on the same day when the money was delivered. I have send money on 15th october and 31st october and my friends I havent got any gold voucher. I emailed them and even called them and no response. They are hanging up my call by telling that I  will be transferred to a department. This is disgusting. The other fraud is way too much to handle. When I used to send money @ 48 rupees per dollar my family used to receive at the same rate after 3 days even though the rate at that time might be 49 rupees per dollar. On 31st October I have send money @ 48.58 rupees per dollar. To my horror my family recieved money @ 46.37 rupees per dollar. This is fraud, why because they change the amount which they never did before and secondly on the day of receiving the rate on the website was not even 46.37 it was more than that for money send above 1001 dollars. When the rate was not 46.37 on the day I send and even on the day my family received then how come this happened. Remit2India think every one of us is a fool to trust them with few fake testimonials. I used to send a lot with western union even though it was expensive. I will start doing it again atleast they transfer money within minutes and they dont cheat like Remit2India or may be I will give ICICI a try......In short Remit2India looks attractive at first then it kind of sucks. They know that we get used to it and take advantage out of our money. I would have given a zero rating if it was there.
