Remit2India.com always displays an exchange rate better than ICICI or any other website.

But when the actual transaction happens,

they issue a much lower rate than the one displayed on their website (even lower than icici). I called up the customer care, and all they say is it is the opening rate applied (48.46) on the transaction which is different than the one displayed on the website which is a closing rate (48.80).

I sent around 20 K and the lost a conversion difference (Rs.6800) is a lot of money. 

1) They have hidden charges as well not listed on their website which would come up as surprise only when you call them.
2) The customer care is rude and would give you one word answers.
3) It happened on two of my transactions already where I noticed, so now A BIG STAY AWAY from this company.
