Hi Friends,

 I want to tell my worst experience with the Reliance Broadband. I had taken Broadband connection (Wi-Max) in somewhere around Spetember-2007. For the initial one week, this worked very
well, with good speed. But immediately after one week , problems started. My main issue was of connectivity. This will not get connected to the DHCP server. When you check, you won’t have the IP address from the Server. You keep on trying for a long time, if you are lucky enough, you may get this after 3-4 Hrs time..My experience is that if this was working fine for 1 day, then this will not work for next 4-5 days..So in effect, you have an average of 5 days connection in a month.

 Then I keep on complaining to the Customer care, they will ask to run some ipconfig commands, then refer to the Technical Department, and finally no results. (I had been informed once that there DHCP server goes down regularly, so there are isses everytime..!!). Then they will simply close the case without informing you and without solving the issue. I got frustrated, as I had be in call queue for atleast 10 minutes to talk to the Custmer care, then tell my issue, then listen all the foolish things they say to me..!!

  Finally I had asked them to disconnect my Broadband in the month of October-07.

Now comes the worst part...I had disconnected my Reliance Broadnet Internet on the month of October-07. But still they keep on sending bills to me, I had received the bills in month of December-07 and January -08 as well..

Now  even after keep on complaining this to all the  customer care people,  and all the Nodal offices.(’Rcomappellateauthority.Karnataka@relianceada.com’; ’serviceassurancecell@relianceada.com’; ’Rcomnodalofficer.Karnataka@relianceada.com’), there is of no use and no response from them..I have got only one mail back from  broadband@relianceada.com saying that they have registered a case and sent me the case reference  number. But no responses after that from anybody..!! And  other side, Reliance keep on sending me the bill reminders for the wrong bills which they had sent me even after the disconnection. ANd still I am tired of sending mails to all the ID’s which I have got..!!!

  So my advice is never ever go for a Reliance connection even if they are giving it for the half rate..!!!
