The biggest problem I faced with Reliance GSM is false billing. My entire prepaid balance of a few hundred rupees was entirely wiped out on arbitrary services / subscriptions that they kept adding to my account without my consent.

The call center is truly pathetic and people are poorly trained to handle queries.

The second problem is the volume of SPAM messages / calls they keep making to sell value added services. Its really annoying - on any given day you will receive about 10 SMSs / automated calls telling you about really stupid or useless services. GPRS service is really bad - data speeds and connectivity are pathetic. Also I’m sure they do a lot of false billing on this service too.

On the whole I wouldn’t recommend Reliance GSM service in bangalore at all.

The only plus is that the network coverage is comparable to that of existing players.

Summary: Stay away from this service. Simply not worth it.
