This review is primarily from the time the CDMA service was launched & until now. Relaince in the begenning was definately a lousy service provider, since I got the connection as soon
as the service was launched, from 2003 to 2009 I have had a Relaince prepaid & postpaid both connections & let me tell you there’s not a single operator in NCR that I haven’t used & I can proudly say that Relaince is by far the best service provider in the market today.
They have evolved a lot since it’s inception in 2003, whereby for even activating call waiting, STD etc one had to rush to the Reliance Web world now it happens over the air on customer service. Their network is far more superior & better than it was in 2003.
Everyone complaints of the services being bad, worse, pathetic & all the other adjectives that can be used, however it’s only few people who realise that it’s becoz of Reliance, that all of us, irrespective of which service provider we use are getting such cheap services. No one ever dreamt of call rates falling so low until Relaince came in.
The guy Anil Ambani since he took over Relaince communications has transformed the entire organisation, the look, the feel & ofcourse most importantly the service & it’s still evolving.
We are very selfish people, we don’t blame Aricel, Airtel, Vodafone & all the other big players in the market coz’ thy are established & people forget that every new service provider does not start providing exceptional services right from day one. It’s a network, technical configuration, routers, cell sites anything can go wrong anytime & all these things together deliver a service & it takes a while before all these are syncronised to perform at optimum levels.
Lastly I would like to give 3 cheers to Reliance, which was traditionally not a telecom company having revolutionalised the entire telecom sector & is still going strong will continue to do so.They are taking communications to a new high & we are proud of an Indian company doing great.I would recommend Reliance CDMA/GSM to everyone.
