I visited Reliance digital in Cunningham road on 28th January 2008 for buying LC TV and IFB washing machine. The product range is good, display is also good but the sales staff are ignorant about product
features. Sales staff need to be trained thoroughly. Most of them are unaware of the detailsof the product.
Theres no place or facility for us to sitdown and study the features or catalogue before finalising the item, this some times can take couple of hours. My wife got eshausted after standing for almost two hours and we had to postpone all other purchases in the store. Our expectation of global standards by the giant corporate Reliance is disappointing.
The LCD Tv was supposed to be delivered within 48 hours of billing i.e, on 30th January 2008. Though it was delivered on the 30th, the service engineer wants another 24 hours for installation. I donot understand the logic of this logistics. Why they need so much time and on this count the small time dealers are far better and faster. Reliance can not be like this, we consumers have very high expectations and hopes. Surely they can do better, they need to re do their groundwork and study consumers suggestions and look at ground realities.
