Almost 7 to 8 months back, I took new Reliance Netconnect Broadband+ connection. At that time I took it as Postpaid connection. At that time I was trying to install it on MacBook and OS is Tiger 10.4.10 version.
The installation file what they had provided with the device was crashing. Many times I called customer care for their help, and they asked me to contact ZTE as he was manufacturer of the device. Many time I spoke to those people and went to their service center and some I managed to took previously released device's installation file and tried installing. I was 50% successful. Up to now there is no fixed solution from them. When ever I tried connecting, application is crashing but I can connect to internet.
During July I requested Reliance people to migrate my connection to Prepaid. For doing this they took more than 15 days. I don't know how they migrate. Some applications from the customer care end still showing it as Postpaid only. More than 20 times they raised a complaint to change it to Prepaid in all the applications. But its of no use.
After that main problem is speed. When ever I call to customer care they tell that as I am using Broadband+ HSD, I should get minimum of 500KBPS speed. From my first day I have never seen speed more than 135KBPS. Maximum speed that I have seen with this device is 135KBPS. Some times it never connects to server.
What is the use of Reliance then. Literally they are cheating all the customers with their brand name. Support wise worst back end support they are providing. There is no way relation between customer care and back end. Only one issue got resolved up to now. Which is Validity period for one of the recharges.
I suggest everyone not to take any connections from Reliance.
