I presume the customer service would be at its worst. Had a very bad experience with Reliance Telecom.
They were asking me to pay a post paid bill after the phone was converted to pre-paid. I had converted the phone from post paid to prepaid. The Customer service told me that the pending bill due, would be taken off my post paid security deposit and the remaining amount I would recieve as a cheque by post. They told me that the phone would be disconnected in a few days and when it was re-activated it would be pre-paid. They even accepted a pre-paid payment, after the phone was re-activated.
However they kept sending me post paid bills over 5 months with a late fee added to each bill for non-payment. They made me run pillar to post. Reliance web world would direct me to Reliance phone customer service and vice versa. It was more like they were trying to get me to give up and pay. My phone was disconnected and I have not received my Rs 500/- pre-paid payment made towards the phone. I have proof of the payment.
Eventually had to go to Consumer court and outcome still pending. Luckily I have all the email and written proof of communication. Don't trust what they say over the phone. Emailing them gives you proof, if they deny anything in Future.
I had a friend who had a similar experience with Reliance GeneraI Insurance Customer Service denial. We deicded to stay away from any of their customer service oriented companies.
