The store is no longer fresh in its values and customer service culture.. its highly important to check the packing date and expiry date of the food items..Now when it comes to international format driven stores like RELIANCE FRESH u ought to be double careful..not only you'll regret buying stuff from there..as I did, but an exchange request to them, I bet will ruin your day...
i bought a packet of bread on 25 August 2010 from reliance fresh store in Chennai (Thiruvanmiyur)..though I checked the date of the pack, unfortunately I missed seeing the later part of it which was "use by 25th August 2010".
Here I go with the sealed packet and the bill on 26th August requesting an exchange just like anyone who don't wish to see their family members eating rotten food. however I was serviced by an extremely unfriendly store supervisor who plainly cancelled the request. Understandably though I was upset at my loss of 24 bucks...but more than that the attitude completely shove off the sense of rapport a customer can create with a store which is very much his or her part of daily routine of life..
Anyways keeping emotional issues aside..though the name reliance suggests reliability...I am extremely sorry to say that the store is JUST NOT RELIABLE...
