I am writing this utter frustration after having called Reliance multiple times and receives numerous false promises. I had unfortunately bought a Whirlpool refrigerator from Reliance Mart show-room in Mark Square Mall, Whitefield, Bangalore, a little more than a year back. The refrigerator is having cooling issues.
Firstly, I had a very tough time registering a complaint. I had to argue with Whirlpool and Reliance-Park-Square customer care officials for 2 days. Finally, a sane customer-care personal from Reliance agreed to register a complaint(complaint number 8004997720).
But I think that was end of all customer support from Reliance. Since a week, I am calling up the Reliance customer care guys, including 1800-103-1044 and other local contacts. Every day I get an assurance that it will be immediately attended to, but nothing turns out.
I am appalled by the lack of apathy from Reliance and Whirlpool which are supposed to be famous brands. Because of fridge-compressor guarantee, I am not able to move to other local fridge-repair vendors. Even escalation to higher Reliance customer service officials did not yield any results except some spam in my mail-box that my request is being attended to - no timelines still.
After exactly 2 months and payment of Rs 3500.00 for various parts and service, the refrigerator is in the same bad condition.
