I was using MTNL triband and wanted to look for other options when I chose Reliance 699 Thunder plan due to it providing good speed and comparatively cheaper with no FUP. I called up their customer care on 8th Sep and was told that I will get a call within 24 hrs and installation will be done within 48 hrs also I submitted my details on their website. I waited and called the customer care again on 9th Sep and executive took my request again for a new connection. Again I called on 10th Sep and executive took my details all over again, I asked if I can visit nearest store and submit form but was informed that Reliance doesnt have office in Mumbai. Consequently I also sent them an email with my complain and escalated the email to their nodal officer. Till today I have not received a call from their technician for new installation.
Simultaneously other Broadband companies called me within 24 hrs of my request even if their service is not available in my area.
I am happy that I didn't take Reliance Broadband because if Pre-sales is so horrible I can't even imagine how Post-sales would be. All you can rely is on their horrrible customer care because of no office in Mumbai.
My personal suggestion is do not even think of Reliance even if its cheaper.
