It looks like this is a blade company

I was surprised about the number of people who are now sharing similar experience with Rediff. I believe now this company is seriously into some mischief. For recap, I just reedited by posting. This company
does not have professional fulfillment. If you purchase one item, it may get delivered. If you purchase multiple items I believe they get confused. May be they are using the same gujju munims from old rediffusion private limited who are not used to speed of business.I had made purchases earlier and did not have problem. This time I bought 17 toys to be delivered to India. I paid through payment gateway. Rediff did not have toys in stock!! But they went ahead and collected money. They also collected individual shipping charges separately for each of the item. Shipping charges itself was a fortune. I presumed they will do a good delivery ala amazon.com.What is unfolding now is boiling my blood. This company sent three items in one substandard package (why did the collect shipping charges separately on each item if they wanted to club the items?)Then they sent one more item by another substandard package. Rest of the items are pending. Is that the end of the story? I wanted to know what is happening. Having bought entire household over amazon, I expected no foulplay. Clicked on the customer support. Presto I was taken to a form there they had various options. Very professional. The items listed there were like “damaged delivery” , “no delivery”, “partial delivery” etc.Well I chose partial delivery . Voila one more page that read send a mail to rediff customer support with your order number by filling up the form below. Great. I looked down. There was no form. Being an open source fan, I consider it infra dig to touch IE. May be firefox was not displaying the form I thought. So I installed IE grumbling all the anti christ feelings microsoft evokes in me. Went back to rediff’s customer support. And found no form again!! So whom will I send the customer complaint. Is there a number I can call. May be they have a US toll free number I thought, searched and found another link click here for our phone numbers. Picked up the phone and clicked the link. That too did not go. This link too was not working. Now I wondered about something fishy. Did a google search on customer support for Rediff.A story unfolded. There are so many non resident customers like me who have been cheated by Ajith and his coterie. And they now do not want to receive mails and phone calls from US. So they have disabled the links!!. That is Indian thinking. Rediff is trying to cover itself in India by disabling the communication with outside world. They may be thinking Indian law is an asinine animal (ms did not allow me to use the correct word here ) which they can ride. This type of reaction normally happens when the end of a company is very near. Everytime a company has thought that it was above the law it has been caught . Remember enron, remember qualcom.. I guess the rediff is having serious trouble. End is near.

I am adding this one year after the incident . I find that shoppers are still taken for a ride by this company. I believe they have not yet enabled the links on their site.
